I suspect Sunday’s anime lineup will feel less quiet once Suisei no Gargantia gets to episodes I haven’t already jumped the gun on watching. For now, all there is to talk about is one returning evil deity.
Nyaruko-san W’s first episode may as well have been the 13th episode of the first season. The no-frills direction, solid comedic timing, reference-heavy humor, and high-energy cast were all unchanged. Not surprising, considering both director Tsuyoshi Nagasawa and writer Noboru Kimura came back to handle this one. The episode’s plot was token episodic material, much like most of the later parts of season 1. By all appearances, Nyaruko-san W plans to stick with a winning formula, which is a smart decision and guarantees it a minimum of 2 weeks of leeway with me.
