Gen wrote the Fate/Zero LN from which the anime was adapted from, so his creative contribution for that series is significantly more than, say, Gargantia.
Yeah, in that regard I wish I knew more about the difference between screenwriting and novel writing, so I could be more sure about what value his doing the story outline as opposed to his writing the screenplay has (intuitively I’d guess screenwriting is more dialogue-based). As it stands, I’m worried, though not excessively, that his name is attached in an auxiliary capacity as opposed to a primary one. People supervising multiple drafts of the writing process can exert their influence, but if you write an outline and leave it at that, five people can interpret it five different ways.
